La Fiscal Departamental, Sandra Gutiérrez, informó que el policía imputado por feminicidio en grado de tentativa guardará detención preventiva por dos meses. El acusado de feminicidio de una adulta mayor no tiene plazo definido para permanecer en la cárcel. En ambos casos, la Fiscalía continúa realizando diversas diligencias.
